Madrasi Education Association (Now known as Delhi Tamil Education Association) in November 1964. It was raised to the level of Middle School in 1966 and to a full fledged Higher Secondary School in the year-1968. The Foundation stone for the present building was laid by Sh.K.S.Ramaswamy, Dy.Minister, Govt.of India, President MEA(Regd), New Delhi on Friday 23/04/1971. Presently we are imparting education is Science, Commerce and Humanities Streams upto class XII under the 10 +2 scheme. It is a co-educational institution having about 1000 students, belonging to the Tamil speaking population of Delhi. The pupils are being taken care of by a band of 50 dedicated members of staff. The pupils have shown their talents is sports, cultural and other co-curricular activities as well. |
